PETS came dressed in their owner’s favorite superheroes, or they dressed in their liveried finest, or even came au naturelle, but dressed to the nines they did.
Cagayan de Oro dog owners participated in the City Veterinarian Office 1st Klarex Uy All Breeds Pawshion Show and Pet Blessing at the City Hall quadrangle this morning. They were also given freebies by the sponsors upon registering.
The activity started with a holy mass and blessing of the pets. A fashion show was then held after, where all types of breeds of dogs strutted their stuff for a chance to win P3,000 as first prize.
This activity was held in conjunction with the celebration of Animal Welfare Week and the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
