Farmer nabbed for arson

A Bukidnon farmer was jailed after he was arrested by responding policemen yesterday for a filed case of arson.

Provincial Police Director Jun Mark Lagare, identified the suspect as Rudy Pinohan, 46, a resident of Sitio Hill Tribe, Barangay Dalwangan, Malaybalay City of the said province

Lipay was nabbed by Malaybalay City Police Station (MCPS) led by Police Ritchie Salva while at Zone 5, Barangay 1 of the same city at 8:43 am.

The arresting officers were armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Wilfredo Bibera Jr, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court-10th Judicial Region, Branch 46, Malaybalay City.

Bibera recommended the suspect a bail bond fixed at 72,000 for his temporary liberty.

He is now temporarily detained at the Malaybalay police mini-cell.
