EARLY mornings are always a breath of fresh air. Especially when we hear the concertos of birds and the fauna that inhabit our surroundings and when we take a glimpse of the penetrating rays of the early morning sun.

Early mornings are so when I see the blossom of fruit trees around the house. Trees that were painstakingly planted by my late wife Julia years back. Trees that now have given us fresh fruits to savor anytime we want to, when in season.

Early mornings are when we hear birds conversing in the language only they understand yet beautiful and soothing for humans to hear. It is when nature keeps on calling us to come out and bask in the early morning sun.

Early mornings are indeed a breath of fresh air. Evenings on the other hand offer romantic moments to those who are still madly in love despite the decades that passed.

Evenings indeed provide us time to reminisce the day that passed, correct mistakes, and continue doing the good deeds. Evenings make us see each other through the moonlit prism that shows us the colors of the day hours before. Evenings are the time when we hum or even vocalize our favorite songs.

Song with immortalized lyrics like “Fly Me to the Moon, and let me play among the stars. Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars. In other words, hold my hand. In other words, darling kiss me.”

“Fill my heart with song and let me sing forevermore. You are all I long for, all I worship and adore. In other words, please be true. In other words, I love you.”

Evenings are also the time when we get to sit back, chew banana chips, and take bedtime medication. Evenings are the time when we get to plan for the day ahead, for tomorrow. Evenings are our recharger.

In its entirety, a lifetime’s day should be summed up into What a Wonderful World.
