By TENG LAUBAN DATU Bureau Chief COTABATO City--- KUTABATO Transport Operators Services Cooperative (KUTOCO) has reminded its members to always observe the safety of commuters as they drive their respective vehicle. Kutoco Secretary Hamza D. Guiwan revealed last week that one of the problems the coop has found out with their members, is that drivers indulged in racing with some other vehicles in the highway. Guiwan said these act is tantamount to placing the commuters in danger as drivers are speeding their vehicle at the speed of 80 kilometer per hour or even faster than this speed adding that most of the vehicular accidents recorded was due to over speeding. Due to this observation, Guiwan said the transport group formulated a policy that needs to be observed by its members otherwise members would face sanctions. Further, Guiwan said KUTUCO is duly registered operating in Cotabato City to Kidapawan City, and Midsayap. He said KUTOCO was registered way back in 1996 and accredited transport group last Sept 2, 2004. At present, the coop has 170 units plying the route from Cotabato City to Kidapawan City, Midsayap and Davao City.
