MOTORISTS traversing the JR Borja and Corrales intersection almost collided with each other as the traffic lights facing JR Borja street suddenly stopped working properly, blinking and turning off, at 10 am, today. The lights on Corrales Avenue continued to function properly.
This reporter immediately called the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) to call their attention to the issue.

As the traffic situation was already escalating, with vehicles from both streets almost colliding when they met at the middle of the intersection, this reporter also alerted the two Police Precinct 2 personnel manning the outpost in front of the Xavier University gym. They immediately went to the intersection and directed the traffic flow.
RTA personnel were already on site as of this writing.
