ILIGAN City ― It was a well-laid plan. And most Pinoys were aware of it. Make the daughter run for the post of President in the 2022 election, what else. An easy win for her.
That is, through Sen. Bato de la Rosa. Who filed his candidacy for the post at the eleventh hour of October 8.
He was the “portal.” Very sure, about that… Especially when he said that he’s “open” if Sara “substitutes” for him come to the November deadline.
Relative to the term, I can’t help remembering the term “substitute.” A teacher came to class one morning saying to the pupils before her: “Good morning, class. I’m your prostitute teacher!”
Ha! Even the pupils knew the difference, but the teacher…ah, this is only a teacher joke.
Anyway, Sara who was then “perceived” to a prostitute, I mean, substitute for somebody in the DU30 hemisphere did withdraw her mayoral candidacy. And when she was seen alighting from the car to make the effort, somebody commented on FB: “Here comes the butangera.” Wasn’t this the way the father got the presidency? By a process called withdrawal and substitution? This was no different. Like father like daughter.
And Bato did withdraw too. Earlier people who were wishing for her to run for ahh, President commented in jest: “Sara na naging Bato pa.”
And she did run for a national post. But under the welcoming arms of BBM!
A great moment for BBM. And supporters, of course.
And tatay Digs? Well, his dandruff exploded! Is BBM stealing his daughter from him? And with all the thunder that comes with it?
So for a time, the tatay lost his bearings. And in a way, his marbles, so to speak. What must he do? Run for Vice President too? So people waited with bated breath.
He did run. For senator, hahaha.
This time, it wasn’t the same again. Between him and daughter. Or maybe it had been like that for quite some time?
And I remember Atty. Salvador Panelo’s earlier comment: “If Sara runs, it would be game over!”
He meant, of course, Sara running for the presidency. Under the hemisphere of Tatay Digs, where else…
Now it came to pass that she’s now teaming with BBM.
And then another B took over. As a presidential wannabe. Whose family name is “Go.” But who’s now in a quandary as to whether it’s “go” or “stop.”
So, like a “teleserye” the well-laid plan went pfft. And PRRD’s guns are now “targeting” the BBM. As in “the guy is weak, and takes cocaine.”
Although unnamed “understood.”
That’s what happens when a plan goes pfft!
For the moment, let’s stop here. But there will be more “thrills.” That’s the stuff that “teleseryes” are made of. So there will be a “sequel” on this. Don’t you think so?
