TALISAYAN Mayor Rico T. Taray has established an action center to cater basic services directly to the entire community.
The mayor has appointed former municipal administration Mariano Candano to head the action center called “Responsableng Tabang sa Talisaynon.”
In an interview on Wednesday morning, Candano said establishing this action center will also serve as an extension office of the municipal mayor.
“This action center will provide medicines, vehicles for transport for emergencies, and burials to anyone who needs help, especially the marginalized sector,” said Candano.
He said they launched the action center on Monday morning at the former municipal police station.
“The town mayor wanted to help and to serve poor people directly,” Candano added.
Meanwhile, Taray also plans to establish an action center in every barangay of the town, Candano said
“Establishing (an) action center in every barangay is a big big help to the people, especially in times of emergency,” Candano said.
