The beneficiaries were residents of Barangay Patag and Barangay San Simon.

“At present, our District 1 fund for financial assistance is depleted since it’s already the last quarter of the year, so it’s difficult for us to distribute aid,” said 1st District Assistant Director Bert Amplayo.

He added that their office is working to secure additional food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

For health assistance, Amplayo advised residents to seek help from the Tingog Center in Carmen, which continues to provide support for medical checkups, medicine, and hospitalization.
