A security guard is now in jail after he was arrested during a buy-bust operation by authorities at Zone 3, Barangay Maapag, Valencia, Bukidnon at 3 pm yesterday.
Bukidnon Police Provincial Director Jun Mark Lagare identified the suspect as Dale Dioso, a resident of Zone 4 of the said barangay.
Seized from the suspect’s possession were two sachets containing a substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated street value of P2,562.
Also confiscated from him was one unit Yamaha Mio 125 with a temporary plate no. 1020-83320, a mobile phone, and a P500 bill buy-bust money.
The inventory was witnessed by Barangay Councilor Rey Bolivar of the said barangay, and a representative from the Department of Justice.
The operation was conducted by personnel assigned at Valencia City Police Station led by Police Lt. Jonel Antique.
Dioso is now temporarily detained at Valencia police station mini-cell pending the filing of charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or anti-illegal drugs law.
