SENATORIAL candidate Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr. continued his campaign trail in the city, drawing enthusiastic support from residents during a motorcade on Sunday, March 23.
Revilla, a popular actor-turned-politician, was met with cheers as he toured local markets, accompanied by former on-screen partner Ara Mina.
The motorcade highlighted his strong connection with the public, reminiscent of his past visits to Cagayan de Oro during his film career.

Acknowledging the challenges faced by many Filipinos, Revilla reiterated his commitment to pushing for legislation that directly benefits the people.
“Alam kong hindi madali ang buhay ngayon, kaya sa Senado, lagi nating inuuna ang mga batas na talagang may silbi sa tao,” he said, emphasizing the laws he has passed that provide direct aid to citizens.
For Revilla, the campaign stop was more than just politics.
“Hindi lang ito tungkol sa eleksyon — ito ay tungkol sa patuloy na pagseserbisyo at pagpapakita ng malasakit sa ating mga kababayan,” he added.
Revilla continues his nationwide campaign ahead of the upcoming elections.
