Iligan City — City mayor Celso Regencia comes back to work this week. Acting mayor Jemar Vera Cruz said Regencia is expected to come back to work on Thursday this week.
To recall, the mayor filed a leave of absence, early December last year shortly after coming back from Manila to answer summons there regarding issues on the Central Material Recovery Facility at Bonbonon, this city.
Councilor Noli Pardillo said the mayor has been hospitalized for two days even as a file of leave was duly filed with the Department of Interior and Local Government in Manila. He said the mayor was suffering from high blood sugar and vertigo.
