Gingoog City — The new president of the Cagayan de Oro Press Club, Inc. said he plans to extend enhancement programs to media practitioners in Misamis Oriental.
In his speech during the induction of the officers of the Press Club of Eastern Misamis Oriental over the weekend, Dr. Manuel V. Jaudian, COPCI president, urged the members of the media organization to avail the enhancement programs.
Jaudian said enhancement program is very important in keeping abreast to the latest technics of news reporting and other like broadcasting, and news writing.
City Administrator Elvin Restituto, who represented Mayor Erick Cañosa, read the mayor’s message which congratulated the newly inducted first set of officers of PCEMOI saying the mayor has welcome this press organization .
Jaudian was the keynote speaker and the inducting officer last Sunday.
The new set officers who inducted were: Del Mark Valendez-President, Ed Mainit-Vice President for broadcast, Edwin Iyo- Vice President for print, Richelle Dalit-Secretary, Nepthalie Apa-Treasurer, Ofelia Mandokita-Auditor, including the board of directors Ricardo Cañete, Mary Ann Valendez, Hedy de Lara, and Edgar Tuto.
