A TOTAL of P66,200 worth of illegal drugs were again confiscated by authorities in separate police operations in different areas in Bukidnon.
In just a span of hours, four drug personalities were arrested and put in jail ― one a farmer and three are unemployed people.
Bukidnon Provincial Director Jun Mark Lagare, identified the suspects as Regelio Padrigon alias “Papart,” 36, unemployed and residing at Zone 2B, Barangay Laligan, Valencia City; Jerry Alejandro alias “Maming,” 48, farmer, of Zone 2, Central Poblacion, Kalilangan.
Two other suspects are also identified as Saanoding Atba, 39, unemployed, residing at Zone 1, Upper Barangay Sugod, Valencia City; and Joed Agapay, 45, also unemployed, residing at Sitio 6A, Poblacion Sur, Don Carlos.
According to Police Lt. Jonel Antique, Valencia City Police Station, Padrigon was arrested in a buy-bust on January 28 at 5 pm at Zone Kurbada, Barangay Tongan-tongan of the said city.
Taken from him were three sachets containing suspected shabu with a total street value of P20,400; P1,000 buy-bust money; P1,500 cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Alejandro, on the other hand, was arrested at Poblacion, Sitio Kimagting, Ninoy Aquino, Kalilangan by elements assigned at Kalilangan Municipal Police Station (KMPS).
Police Capt. Merlyn Macawili, KMPS head, said Alejandro, a farmer by profession, was arrested on the same date at exactly 4:20 pm.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession were 6 sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated value of P15,000, P500 cash, and a mobile phone.
Meanwhile, Atba was arrested by Valencia City Police Station personnel led by Police Lt. Jonel Antique together with Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) at 11:02 pm at Purok 1, Upper, Barangay Sugod, Valencia City.
Taken from him were 3 sachets with an estimated street value of P6,800.00 and some personal belongings.
Lastly, Agapay was arrested by the elements of Don Carlos Municipal Police Station led by Police Major Jose Regner Sevillino together with Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit, RSOU-10, RID-10, Bukidnon 2nd PMFC, and 1003rd RMFB-10.
Recovered from the suspect were 2 sachets believed to be shabu with an estimated value of P6,800, P500.00 cash, and a mobile phone.
All the suspects are temporarily withheld at the different police stations for proper dispositions.
