IN just a day, five persons were arrested by authorities for attempted murder in separate police operations in Bukidnon province on January 8.
Bukidnon Police Provincial Director Jun Mark Lagare, identified the arrested suspects as Marlon Talisik, 47, self employed, residing at sitio Natid-asan, Barangay Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
He was arrested at Zone 4, Barangay Pal-ing, Malaybalay city at 2 pm, of the said province
Arresting police personnel was armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Wilfredo Bibera, Jr of the Regional Trial Court-10, Branch 46, Malaybalay City.
Another murder suspect was arrested by Lantapan police at Barangay Pinatilan, Valencia city.
Police Major Jerry Paronia of Lantapan police station, identified the suspect as Joseph Cariman alias “Dagol,” 29, laborer of Zone 2, of the said barangay.
Police arrested him while at the same barangay at about 11:37 am.
Judge Bibera issued the warrant of arrest with no bail bond recommended.
Meanwhile, three more attempted murder suspects, all females, were also arrested by authorities.
The suspects were identified as Marivic Obaob, alias “Tata,” 46, separated; and Shiela Mae Sagde, 28, both residing at Zone 7, Barangay Poblacion, Valencia city of the said province. Both were arrested for attempted murder.
Judge Bibera slapped each of them with a P120,000 bail bond for their temporary liberty.
Another female suspect was arrested while at Zone 3, Barangay Maapag, Valencia city, Bukidnon.
Police authorities identified the suspect as Mary Jane Cariman, 31, residing at Zone 2, Barangay Pinatilan, Valencia City
She was arrested by Lantapan police personnel led by Police Major Jerry Paronia at about 12:36 am.
The same Judge recommended her no bail bond.
Lagare expressed his compliment to the responding police personnel for a job well done and relentless effort to place the wanted persons under police custody.
He also stated that cooperation and support of (the) community is the key to (making) Bukidnon a safe place to live and do business.
