The pandemic has taught us to be resourceful in finding ways to find a living and adjusting to the situation. The Farmers Market CDO was one of the few online business that flourish during the pandemic and was able to open its own physical store called Alpha Grocer.
One of this city’s well-known photographer, Carlo Gaid was one of those affected and had to put down his camera and find new means of making a leaving. Gaid returned to his roots as his family business in his hometown was selling all kinds of vegetables. Armed with an existing connection he and Fia Benedicto opened an online store called the “Farmers Market CDO” on Facebook in Gaid’s photography studio and began taking orders in April selling vegetables and baking products.
As the orders kept coming, Farmers Market CDO grew. This is where they decided to open a physical store “Alpha Grocer” on November 7, located at V. Neri St, Carmen, Cagayan de Oro. Retaining their delivery service the latter offers more products at a still affordable price to its patrons.
Aside from vegetables and spices, Alpha Grocer offers wholesale and retail products and added more consumer goods such as canned goods, oil, flour, rice and other baking needs among others and are available for delivery right to your doorsteps.
