THIRTY offices from the city government and national agencies joined the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Fair held May 31 at the City Tourism Hall.
The fair offered a range of services, including business permits, tax clearances, sanitary and building permits, zoning clearances, and document notarization.
National agencies also provided enrollment for GSIS and SSS e-cards, Pag-IBIG and PhilHealth registration, Pag-IBIG and Land Bank loan applications, issuance of birth and marriage certificates, national ID registration, and free theoretical driving courses through the Land Transportation Office.
E-commerce platform Lazada participated through its Communitours program, helping entrepreneurs learn how to sell products online.
Among those present at the opening were City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas; City Councilors George Goking, Roberto Cabaring, and Roger Abaday; Oro-TIPC Chief John Asuncion; Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce President Engr. Almarco Brito; Filipino-Chinese Community Chairman Efren Uy; Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Director General Ernesto Perez; ARTA Northern Mindanao Regional Chief Dr. Jutchel Nayra; and Lazada Philippines Head of Strategic Partnerships Hernan Mayhay.
The fair is part of the city’s annual celebration of EODB Month every May. It was organized by the local government through the Oro Trade and Investment Promotions Center, ARTA, and Lazada, with the goal of bringing government services closer to citizens and improving public service delivery.
