AN online seller has been arrested for illegal drugs on the very first day of the New Year.
Jover Bahian, 35, online seller of ready-to-wear, single, and a resident of Purok 4, Barangay, Sampatulog, Alubijid, Oriental, was arrested by the police in a buy and bust at Purok 4, Barangay Calatcat, Alubijid on January 1 at 4:45 pm.
Police Lt. Flor Eusibio, Alubijid police station chief said, his men were able to confiscate a big square transparent cellophane, and three pieces long elongated sachet all containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu worth P34,000, and a P500 bill
The said operation was joined by Laguindingan police and agents from Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority and was witnessed by Barangay Councilor Ernie Dadang, and Barangay Chair Julius Batalla of the said Barangay.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Alubijid police station pending the filing of charges in violation of the Anti-Drugs Law.
