The Misamis Oriental-1 Rural-1 Electric Service Cooperative Inc. (MORESCO-1), extended its gratitude to all those who join on May 22, 2015 as it celebrated its 45th Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) and 47th Founding Anniversary. This year’s celebration puts emphasis on empowering the electric cooperative through development. This reflects the humble beginnings of the power cooperative from its conception in 1968 to its, now, current stature as one of the best-managed, best-performing and renowned leader among the electric cooperatives in the Philippines. Since its conception, MORESCO-1 still continues to revolutionize the rural electrification in the country and from then on, it has outdone many challenges that paved the way for the Cooperative’s continued solidarity and success. Moreover, the thrust this year is very much geared towards the preparation for the rapid growth taking place in its coverage area of which highlights the most important aspect tackled in the assembly --- the security and reliability of power supply. In line with this, it has been repeatedly recognized and enunciated during the aforementioned event that the best efforts of the organization and its board of directors ultimately yielded to positive results wherein additional capacity in its power supply is continuously maximized in every opportunity that it faced. Thus, not only is MORESCO-1 fostering sustainable developments, but more so ensuring the continued delivery of quality service to all its member-consumers.
