HUNDREDS of people, including youth, from Misamis Oriental are expected to join an anti-corruption protest in Cagayan de Oro City on Sunday, September 21.
The event, dubbed ‘End Cycle: Stop Corruption,’ was confirmed by Invinsor ‘Ladz’ Taray, one of the organizers from the province.
Taray said groups from Gingoog City, Medina, Talisayan, and Villanueva have already committed to attending, with ongoing efforts to secure participation from other municipalities.

“We are still working for some other municipalities to join us also,” he said.
The protest will begin with an assembly at 2:30 pm at Rodelsa Rotonda, followed by a caravan departure at 3:10 pm. The main rally is scheduled for 5 pm at the Amphitheater in Cagayan de Oro.
Taray is asking participants to bring their own placards or tarps with slogans to “voice out frustrations against the government” and to wear black or green shirts.
