Misor councilor arrested in drug raid

THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested a municipal councilor Monday morning after seizing several sachets of shabu from his residence.

PDEA-10 identified the suspect as Shalako Uba, 49, a councilor in Magsaysay town. He was arrested at his home in Barangay Kandiis around 5 am with a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region.

Uba is currently in the custody of the PDEA in Misamis Oriental.
