SUPPORTERS of presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr and vice-presidential candidate Sara Duterte in Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental held a float parade and grand caravan around the city yesterday.
The caravan was participated in by bikers sporting red and green flaglets on their bikes, motorcycle riders wearing their club jerseys with Uniteam logos, and an assortment of vehicles festooned with streamers and standees of the two running mates.
“Advance caravan ni sa tanan BBM-Sara supporters kay mo abot sila karong April 26,” Felipe Canoy, Misamis Oriental Provincial Director of United BBM Loyalist International (UBLI). “Didto sa sports center i-hold,” he added.
The caravan’s participants were a mix of Uniteam multisectoral groups, Ituloy and Pagbabago Movement, and UBLI.
Other activities included a Zumba dance at the Rodelsa Circle in front of their headquarters as well as a contest for the best float, which the UBLI group won.
