ILIGAN City ― Vice President Ma. Leonor ‘Leni’ Robredo is in the city today.
This was revealed to reporters yesterday morning by Jimmy Sale, chair of Barangay Tambacan here.
He said members of the LGBTQ community here, of which he is a member will come in full force to witness the occasion.
He added that the LGBTQ Pilipinas hopefully would make it as a party-list hopefully by next elections as right now they still have to comply with some documents to make it as a party-list representative.
Robredo’s rally will be at the city public plaza in Barangay Poblacion. Her running mate Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan will also be there, Sale said.
Earlier, in another related development, former City Mayor Lawrence Ll. Cruz said that he has accepted the offer of Robredo’s campaign manager here because he believes in the ideals that she represents.
