THE Kasalan ng Bayan of City Mayor Klarex Uy gave marriage licenses to 48 couples last Saturday morning at the Pagalungan Covered Court.

Although Uy failed to attend the occasion, Chief of Staff Shiela Lumbatan delivered the mayor's message during the program.

Judge Elueteria Algodon officiated the Kasalan ng Bayan.

Each of the 48 couples received a lechon, cake, wine, rice, and groceries, said Barangay Chairman Rene Oporto.

Oporto thanked the Uy administration for the event.

“Dako nga tabang ang maong Kasalan ng Bayan ni Mayor Klarex tungod napahilona na kadtong dugay na nagtipon apan walay kasal,” he said.
