ILIGAN City ― There will be a turnover of the Anahaw Amphitheater project next week.
Councilor Petronilo Pardillo though said that there would be “no flag-raising” during the said occasion. The project he added is not funded locally but comes from support funds at the national level.
To recall the project at the start created a lot of controversies that led to some sectors here opposing it. Led by former mayor Franklin M. Quijano, the opposition went to court because the heritage aspect would be destroyed with its beauty being tampered with.
The court though favored the city, thus its scheduled turnover early next week, with Mamsar Enterprises as the contractor.
The said structure to note is part of the Buhanginan Hills complex which houses most of the city government offices here.
