Iligan City — Just like the Independence Day Celebration last June 12, the city’s 67th Charter Day Celebration was not held at the city public plaza because of security concerns brought about by the Marawi crisis.
City councilor Sorilie Baczarpa said the city decided earlier that the ceremonies be at the city hall grounds with city officials led by Mayor Celso Regencia in attendance.
Iligan became a chartered city, June 16, 1950.
