Geely Philippines is finally in Cagayan de Oro, the leading Chinese-automotive brand is now available in this city through the efforts of GrandCars Inc. lead by President Jan Andrew Po who brought the first Geely dealership in Mindanao.

It officially launched last February 10 at the event center of SM CDO Downtown Premier lead by Geely Philippines, President and CEO, Mikihisa Takayama, and Vice President Yosuke Nishi, GrandCars Inc., Peter Po, Chairman, Carolin Po, Comptroller, Jan Andrew Po, President, Lorenzo Aguilar, Vice President – Operations, Hernani Uy, Director – Financing and Insurance, and Rhyan Jhay Santos, AVP Mindanao Operation.

During the said event Geely Philippines President and CEO, Mikihisa Takayama thank guest, the city of Cagayan de Oro lead by City Mayor Oscar Moreno, and Grand Cars Inc., President, jan  Andrew Po for their opening the idea to bring Geely to CDO.

Takayama explained “Cagayan de Oro is a rapidly growing city in terms of economic. It is also logistically ideal as it’s a major gateway to Mindanao,” he said.

He also added that the idea quickly became a reality to open in CDO thanks to GrandCars Inc.

For his part, City Mayor Oscar Moreno expressed his gratitude to Geely Philippines and GrandCars Inc., for investing and choosing Cagayan de Oro.

“We are honored and happy that Geely Philippines and GrandCars Inc., decided to open its first dealership here in Cagayan, rest assured we will make your stay here in our city fruitful and convenient as possible,” Moreno concluded.
