A beginning of a new spooky and hilarious season awaits fans as Ghost Adventures makes its return this October 31 on TV 5.

“Ghost Adventures”, the high-rating comedy-horror series, returns for a second season to pump up your mood every Saturday, starting October 31, 6 PM. Par Jack (Benjie Paras), the country’s famous ghost whisperer, continues to help ghosts cross over to the afterlife through his newly opened business catering to ghost “Day Scare Center”.

Same as all heroes there is bound to be a villain in the mix. In the form of the grim reaper, Kaspar played by comedian Empoy Marquez with his loyal companions Andrew Muhlach (Ghosting) and Madz Red (Multoni).

Meanwhile, Kylie Verzosa plays Luna, who might be playing a key role as Par Jacks’ love interest in this amazing adventure. Joining the cast of Ghost Adventures 2 are Par Jack’s loyal sidekicks Nik played by Pio Balbuena and Billy Villeta as Bur.

Paras during its live presscon via Zoom on Monday revealed that aside from the star-studded cast, special celebrity guests would also make an appearance throughout the season. Adding that the show’s content this time around would be funnier and would cater to all audiences regardless of age.

“Family show talaga ito, pwede sa lahat, concept kasi ng show aside sa magbigay ng kasayahan at patawa, ay meron ding mabuting-aral mapupulot dito in every episode na makukuha,” Paras said.

For his part, Empoy shared this wasn’t the first time he and Paras worked together as they have been working on a few projects in the past. This made it comfortable for Empoy as the chemistry between the two is already there. But that’s not all that these two comedians have in common as they also share idols who influenced them in their craft such as the late comedy king Dolphy, and Pablito Sarmiento, better known as Babalu among others who truly made an impact in career path.

When as if what advice he would ask from his idols, Paras said “If meron siguro akong totuong third eye, siguro ang advice na hihingin ko sa kanila ay yung pano tumay-ming sa pag bitiw ng mga linya. Kasi nabigyan ako ng opportunity na maka trabaho sila noon at madami ako natutonan sa kanila.”

As the ongoing pandemic continues its onslaught throughout the globe, Viva, SariSari, and TV 5 made sure that while filming each episode social distancing, safety, and health protocols are observed for the production and cast by going through mandatory swab testing.

The cast during the presscon resoundingly agreed that due to the pandemic it’s much harder to act as you need to adjust to your environment for safety reasons. But this did not stop the cast from enjoying the making of Ghost Adventures 2, both behind and off-screen.
