DRIVING long-distance and negotiating downhill roads along with heavy-duty trucks on your back will always be a scary situation.
After a 10-wheeled truck lost control in Upper Puerto, Cagayan de Oro that injured at least three persons, weeks ago, another delivery wing van truck rammed into three houses in Talakag, Bukidnon that hurt another three including a new-born baby, over the weekend.
According to PSSgt. Neilbrox Galve, investigator at Talakag Municipal Police Station, that the truck’s brake had malfunctioned, causing it to go down directly into the three houses owned by the Sayatao families.
But like in Upper Puerto, all the victims in the Talakag road mishap managed to escape death after recuperating in a hospital, with some of them already discharged.
The driver Ceasar Sundo Jr, 38, has been put under police custody.
He will face charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple physical injuries and damage to properties if the victims will not agree on an amicable settlement.
