By BEN SERRANO, Correspondent BUTUAN CITY — Police authorities in neigboring Surigao City nabbed two persons with P236 thousand worth of suspected shabu,  22 pieces of illegal gambling fruit game machines including  a .45 caliber pistol with seven live ammunitions and an undetermined amount of cash in a raid of a known drug den on Tuesday, last week. Report from Surigao City Police Office to Police Regional Office-13 here, joint police operatives from  Regional Public Safety Battalion and Regional Intelligence Division set up a perimeter and started advancing on the house of certain Alma Anastacio and certain Alyas Tarok through the implementation of Search Warrant for illegal drugs with PDEA pre operation number 3003-12016-0074 at Pantalan 2, Barangay Washington, Surigao City. Authorities recovered twenty seven (27) sachet of suspected shabu more or less 20 grams with DDB value of P236 thousand, a caliber 45 with one magazine loaded with seven live bullets and an improvised short firearm and several drug paraphernalia during the raid. Within minutes of searching, two persons were arrested identified as Jessie Roldan and Brian Cedullo who were arrested in the premises while subject persons of said warrant identified as Alma Anastacio and certain Alyas Tarok evaded arrest. Police said Roldan and Cedullo together with confiscated evidence were placed under the custody of RID 13 for proper documentation and disposition. Charges were filed yesterday at the Surigao City Prosecutors  Office, the report reads. (ben serrano)
