A TOTAL of P275,808 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from the suspects in separate operations in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, and the Province of Bukidnon within just a span of three days.
Machissmo Go alias ‘Major Go,’ 41, residing at Zone 3, North Poblacion, Maramag Bukidnon, was the first to be arrested by Maramag Municipal Police under Police Lt. Julius Macariola at 11 pm Wednesday.
The suspect is the top number 4 most wanted person in the provincial level.
Seized from him were seven sachets containing suspected shabu with a street value amount of P34,000, a genuine P500 bill used as buy-bust money, and some personal belongings.
The arrest was witnessed by Barangay Councilor Nilo Baguio of the said place.
The following day, another top 4 most wanted person was arrested in the same province.
He was identified as Bryan Labajo, 42, unemployed, and a resident of Zone 3, San Carlos, Valencia City.
Arresting policemen were able to confiscate from his possession 18 sachets of suspected shabu with a street value of P20,400.
The operation was witnessed by Barangay Councilor Junie Gabucan.
Today, police arrested a certain Jenson Blase, 31 of Poblacion, Kadingilan in Bukidnon in a buy-bust operation.
The incident happened at about 1:16 am at Zone 2, Patag, Barangay Bagontaas of the said municipality.
Seized from the suspect were three sachets containing suspected shabu valued at P6,800.
It was witnessed by Barangay Councilor Danilo Bustamante.
On the same day in Cagayan de Oro City at around 1:36 am, a certain Pepe Barona, 41, residing at Barangay Balubal was also arrested through a warrant of arrest.
Elements assigned at Puerto police under Police Major Peter Tajor and members of Regional Special Operation Unit under Police Lt. Col. Vicente Cabatingan raided the suspect’s residence.
The arresting officers served a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maria Corazon Llanderal of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 40 of Cagayan de Oro City.
On the same day, the same police unit arrested a Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiary due to the same offense.
The suspect was identified as Schmyth Pelarion, 24, residing at Zone 7, Riverside, Barangay Bugo, this city.
Taken from his possession were three sachets containing suspected shabu with a street value of P6,800.
While in Barangay Lapasan another drug suspect was arrested by members of the police in the area.
The suspect was identified as Jonathan Calubio, 36, a resident of Green Heights, Barangay Balulang, this city.
Arresting police assigned at Precinct Number 3 under Police Capt. Ernesto Sanchez was able to confiscate from him eight sachets of suspected illegal drugs amounting to P3,808 and some personal belongings.
At 5:55 pm the same day policemen assigned at El Salvador City Police Station in Misamis Oriental arrested the number 2 most wanted person in the provincial level identified as Allen Olinan.
The 37-year-old Olinan is a resident of Zone 8, Barangay Molugan of the said city, yielded four big heat-sealed cellophane and nine more sachets all containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P204,000.
The search warrant was issued by Judge Arthur Abundiante of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 25 of Cagayan de Oro City.
All the suspects are now temporarily under the custody of their respective police headquarters where they were arrested.
