POLICE authorities arrested a 48-year-old laborer tagged as second most wanted in Northern Mindanao inside his residence yesterday.

Bukidnon Provincial Director Jun Mark Lagare, in his report to Regional Police Director Benjamin Acorda, identified the suspect as Julieto Gempisao, a native of Zone 6, Barangay Mabunga, Baungon in Bukidnon.

Gempisao is also the fourth most wanted in Bukidnon and most wanted in Baungon for the same crime.

He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jose Yamut, Sr. of the Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region-Branch 11, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

Gempisao’s criminal offense has been deemed heinous, the reason that Judge Yamut recommended no bail bond for the suspect.

Lagare said the arrest was executed by personnel of Baungon Municipal Police Station led by Police Lt. Lance Elpidio Figuracion, together with Bukidnon PIU, and 1st Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company.

The accused is now temporarily detained at the custodial facility of Baungon police for documentation and proper disposition.

Lagare expressed his compliment to the responding police personnel for a job well done.
