A second most wanted person in one of the municipalities in Misamis Oriental has finally been arrested by law enforcers during a raid this morning.

Police Provincial Director Raniel Valones, identified the suspect as Nepthalie Salapang, 52, a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Poblacion, Sugbongcogon, of the said province.

In a police report, it was learned that police personnel from Sugbongcogon police station headed by Police Lt. Gil Caday, conducted a manhunt operation at Barangay Barangay Mangga where the suspect was spotted and arrested.

Judge Augusto Calo, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 2 of Butuan City, recommended the suspect with a P120,000 bail bond for the latter’s temporary liberty.

Valones commended the operating personnel for a job well done in the implementation of LOI Manhunt Charlie and encouraged personnel of Misamis Oriental PPO to continue its unwavering efforts to eradicate all forms of criminality within the province and keep on reinvigorating its anti-criminality campaign.
