CAGAYAN de Oro officials participated in a tourism and investment roadshow organized by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (Tieza) on June 18 at the Limketkai Luxe Hotel.

City Administrator Roy Hilario Raagas, representing Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy, joined the event alongside business leaders including Jerome De la Fuente, president of the Cagayan de Oro Hotel and Restaurant Association (Cohara), and Engr. Almarco Brito, president of the Oro Chamber.

The roadshow highlighted the current tourism investment climate in Northern Mindanao, focusing on incentives available under the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises to Maximize Opportunities for Reinvigorating the Economy (Create More) Act.

Speakers presented opportunities in Tieza-managed economic zones and detailed how businesses can access tax benefits and government support.
The event also tackled financing options for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the Small Business Corporation (SBCorp).

The initiative was held in partnership with the Department of Tourism-10 , the Oro Chamber, and the Cagayan de Oro City Hall through the Oro Trade and Investment Promotions Center.
