For its part, Barangay Macasandig in cooperation with members of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo), Police Station 9 in Nazareth has placed two checkpoints to check privately owned vehicles, PUVs, PUJs, motorelas, and pedestrians coming in and out of the said barangay for their credentials (Barangay Exit Pass, APOR ID/Company ID, and Higala QR code) among others. The said checkpoints are located in a junction of Tambo near the Bell Church and another at Macasandig Elementary School.
