Gingoog City Mayor Erick Cañosa hopes that the newly established private hospital in the city will be of big help to the residents as he led the groundbreaking ceremony last Thursday.
“Dako kaayo akong kalipay sa katukuran sa maong hospital tungod kay duol na sa katawhan sa Gingoog ang balay tambalanan nga kompleto sa pasilidad ug dili na kinahanglan ang mga pasyente nga mo biyahe pa sa layo arun buot magpatambal sa gi hambing nga balatian,” said Cañosa adding that he hopes the hospital will be operational next year.
The Hospital is named San Isidro Polymedic General Hospital with a 100-bed capacity located in Barangay San Luis, this city.
The hospital is built in a partnership of the Axelum Resources Corp. of Medina, Misamis Oriental and the Polymedic Group of companies.
The groundbreaking ceremony was also attended by City Vice Mayor Peter Unabia, Councilor Evelyn Canosa, committee chair on health, City Councilor and ABC President Robert De Lara, Mayor Donato Chan, Vice Mayor Kimboy Odchigue of Medina and the Axelum and Polymedic Group top officials.
Cañosa said the hospital will have complete facilities that include CT Scanner, Intensive Care Unit, dialysis, and laboratories, among others.
Cañosa said the management of the hospital and the city government will forge a memorandum of agreement to ensure more health services in the city.
