THE Black Panthers, powered mostly by the employees of the Provincial Health Office, emerged as the biggest winner of the day-long ‘Larong Panlahi’ that spiced up the exciting 2022 Paglaum Inter-Office Sportsfest last Friday at the Capitol grounds.
Showing grit and spunk, the Black Panthers ruled in the energy-sapping ‘Tug-o-War,’ the fast-paced ‘T-shirt Relay,’ and the fun-filled ‘Sack Race’ contest, leaving ‘Patintero’ and ‘Maria Went to Town’ to the hands of the Gray Wolves and Orange Tigers, respectively.
“Bibo, alegre gyod kaayo ang mga traditional games nga natapos ang mga dula sa isa lang ka adlaw. Lingaw ang manan-away,” said the newly-minted Misamis Oriental Sports coordinator Francis Sean Condeza.
At least four regular events in volleyball, chess, badminton, and table tennis enliven the Sportsfest held every Friday for Misamis Oriental workers as one of Governor Peter Unabia’s programs to keep the employees fit and healthy to respond to every day’s challenges at their workplace.
