AROUND 300 members and leaders of Bayan Muna from across Mindanao will gather in Cagayan de Oro City tomorrow, February 11, for an island-wide assembly and motorcade aimed at reinvigorating the party-list’s campaign to return to Congress.

Bayan Muna, known for its advocacy on workers’ rights, economic justice, and anti-corruption measures, will use the event to highlight its legislative priorities and push for pro-people reforms.

“This assembly is a rallying point to continue fighting for policies that benefit ordinary Filipinos,” said former Rep. Carlos Isagani ‘Kaloi’ Zarate, Bayan Muna’s national executive vice president and second nominee.

The event will take place in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro, beginning with discussions and media engagements from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a motorcade from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm traversing major city streets.

The motorcade will emphasize Bayan Muna’s stance on key national issues such as healthcare, education, labor rights, and government transparency.

Party leaders, Makabayan senatorial candidates, and community representatives will be available for interviews and photo opportunities.

“The fight for affordable prices, better wages, and government accountability continues,” said Atty. Beverly Musni, Bayan Muna Northern Mindanao coordinator. “We remain committed to pushing for genuine change.”

The event is open for media coverage, with opportunities for interviews with party officials and supporters.
