THE Autokid, in partnership with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-10, successfully conducted the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program Caravan-Northern Mindanao leg at Grand Caprice Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City Monday.
The caravan aims to promote the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) and to provide assistance and education to the transport service entities in the region for the modernization of their PUVs.
The event was graced by LTFRB-10 Director Aminoden D. Guro, Autokid Managing Director Jeff Rolida for Cagayan de Oro City, Autokid PUV Director for Financing Jeannette R. Mercado, and LTFRB-10 Financial Analyst II Marianne C. Ulep.

Also present were the President of Donsals Express, Mr. Donald Ellarina, Land Bank of the Philippines-CDO Lending Officer Aileen Manansala, Dyno-CDO Finance Branch Manager Edmund Ryan S. Milan, Maybank-CDO Account Officer Jennifer Acaso, Asia Link-CDO, Area Manager Ariez Tuozo, Bank of the Philippines Island–CDO Marketing Head Jane Tutor, Journeytech Inc. (an AFCS providing company) representative Aljhun Moralde, representatives from 31 transport service entities in the region, and the PUVMP RPMO-10 personnel Planning Officer III Engr. Mohammad Khan Alonto, and Transportation Development Officer II Engr. Mohamad Juffali Sampaco.
The program started with discussions on the PUVMP process and LPTRP updates by Dir. Guro and Ms. Ulep, Autokid PUVMP presentation by Ms. Mercado, discussions regarding financing and AFCS by the abovementioned bank and AFCS provider representatives, and ended with photo ops of the attendees.
The Public Utility Modernization Program is a program of DOTr that aims to provide a comfortable life for all Filipinos through a safe, reliable, convenient, affordable, and environmentally sustainable public transportation system in the country.
