ILIGAN City ― Former city councilor died on March 27 of a lingering illness. He was 80. His Facebook post was swarmed with condolences from family and friends. It was then learned that the wake is at St. Peters at Sta. Felomina and interment will be on April 5 at Pryce Memorial Gardens.
Dalisay was a three-termer city councilor and chaired various committees in the Sangguniang Panlungsod among them, Committee on Laws, Committee on Peace and Order, and Committee on Water.
Among his achievements was arguing before the Supreme Court that the city of Iligan not be included in the then Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Lawyer Leo M. Zaragoza expressed too his profound condolence and regrets on the matter saying that many good lawyers have all passed away like Atty. Voltaire Rovira and Atty. Alfredo Busico.
