Alagar marks 18 buy-bust ops, 22 arrests during undas

AUTHORITIES implemented a total of 18 buy-bust operations throughout the region that resulted in about 22 personalities arrested said P/Major Joan Navarro, spokesperson of the Philippine National Police-10.

The operation done during Undas activities started on October 28 when the police seized 178.36 grams of shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P1,212 848 said Navarro in a phone interview.

“We also arrested a total of 96 wanted persons during the serving of warrants of arrest,” she said adding that the arrests stemmed from a total of 11 warrants for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, and seven warrants for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and five warrants for violating other criminal offenses.

Navarro said this is the result as PNP 10 Regional Director Brigadier Gen. Lawrence Coop ordered maximum police presence during Undas.
