By Edwin Iyo Correspondent Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental — Town Mayor Jay Albert Puertas has just signed a Memorandum of Partnership Agreement with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-10) which will give the local government the authority to facilitate land titling here. “Dako kaayo kini’g advantage para kanamo kay ang mga katawhan dili na mahasol ug magastohan pag adto (ngadto) sa buhatan sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources arun lang sa pag process sa ilang mga application of land titling,” Puertas told Gold Star Daily after the signing of the agreement at the Sanggunian Bayan Hall here, late last week. For his part, DENR Regional Director Edwin Andot said the process of all land titling application is free of charge. “The land survey is also free,” Andot added. Puertas urged all barangay officials of this town to help dissimate the information about the agreement.
