ILIGAN City — Maybe because there is still some doubt as to what really is the origin of this darn Covid 19, we are told that the World Health Organization sent a team to Wuhan recently. The purpose: to really find out about its origin.
Reports say they there at China were “uncooperative.” Ah, well…
Anyway, we are told that this virus thing originated in a market there in Wuhan selling exotic animals. So the virus came from maybe, bats that were displayed and sold to customers there…
Hence, the viruses that came with the bats. From Wuhan with or without love, spread globally. And exponentially. Creating so much havoc to our way of life.
By and by, another theory emerged. That this really did not come from “that” market.
But from a Wuhan lab from which they had escaped!
And then, from an international channel on TV, a report said that “they” must have come from some cave there in Wuhan.. And these viruses were “harvested” and found their way to this Wuhan lab. Where scientists fiddled and tinkered with them, maybe for some noble or not so noble purpose? Like reducing to lowest terms an “overpopulated” world?
And the United States of America was “involved” too in the “funding” for this research at the lab. And this “involvement” of America as to the “funding” aspect cannot be verified because things like these are “classified.”
Maybe America and China has a “love- hate” relationship?
At any rate, if that’s the case, this “agreement” between two powers could not have happened during the Trump administration. That is, judging from his rhetorics. Like referring to it as “China virus” or “Kung flu.”
This might have been made earlier. The “funding” I mean. Although the “escaping” from some lab occurred during the Trump watch.
It is said that at times, “truth could be stranger than fiction.” Such are stuff in which some movies are made of. We get a view of this in a movie, “Inferno” from a novel by Dan Brown starring Tom Hanks where he plays as Robert. Langdon.. Whereby a bloke called Bertrandt Zobrist, a billionaire really decided that it was time for the world population to be reduced to lowest terms. Because the world can no longer sustain it. And he, Zobrist could be the “hero,” instead of a heel. So he had with him some container of that viruses, ready to be spread to the world. Stories like these always favor such characters as Langdon. So together with a friend they were able to get that container holding the viruses in the nick of time.. Their clue? Dante’s “ Inferno.” Dante is a medieval poet.
But this Covid thing? Poor us. We can only ask: Ano ba talaga mga kuya? Anyari?
