By SHIELA MAE BUTLIG Correspondent A PADAYON Pilipino leader yesterday said his group still believes that Rep. Rufus Rodriguez of the city’s 2nd District would run for mayor. Councilor Alexander Dacer said there was a growing clamor for Rodriguez to run for mayor against Mayor Oscar Moreno, and Padayon Pilipino leader and ex-mayor Vicente Emano. “Mudagan man ni si Rufus kay nakita man sa iyang mga supporters nga luya si (Moreno),” said Dacer. The other day, Councilor Ramon Tabor said there were indications Rodriguez or Rep. Rolando Uy of the city’s 1st District or both would run for mayor against Moreno and Emano. In a text message, Rodriguez said, “Have no decision yet.” He then sent this second text message: “No possibilty yet.” Rodriguez said those who speculate should “await our decision.”
