By Nora Soriño, Iligan City Bureau Chief and Sita N. Asequia, Correspondent Iligan City — The body of the boy who went missing at the height of the floods last Jan. 16 has been found and retrieved. Senior Insp. Dexter Ceniza of the Nonocan Police Station at Suarez, this city said that the boy’s body was found on Jan. 23 at around 10:00 am at Liangan West, Purok 3 at Liangan West, Maigo, Lanao Norte. To recall, when the floods were raging in this city victim Jhonder V. Martinez, 12, suddenly slipped and fell into a canal along the pathway and due to the strong current of the waters was carried away.
