It's back! After two years of virtually-held pageantry, Miss Cagayan de Oro returns in a live setting as it officially introduced fifteen gorgeous ladies vying for the coveted title during its press and public presentation yesterday evening at Centrio Ayala Mall this city.
This year, instead of the usual 12 candidates, the organizer opted to add 3 more to the roaster, this according to its Chairperson Mags Cue.
A clear and bold move fitting for the return of one of this city's main events during this August's Higalaay festival, a patronal festival held each year in Cagayan de Oro City, celebrating the feast day of St. Augustine (patron saint).
The "Press and Public presentation" is one of the highlight activities of Miss Cagayan de Oro during the said event members of the press and blogging community joined and voted for "Muse of the Press," which would be announced in a later date.
