LIHUK Movement launched the Pagpili Alang Sa Malambuo’ng Ugma (Pag-ila) 2022 at Berchman’s Hall, XU Canteen, Xavier University-Main Campus yesterday.

This is to kickstart Pag-ila 2022, a series of scheduled fora with the city’s local candidates in attendance.

Pagpili Alang Sa Malambuo’ng Ugma (Pag-ila) 2022 is a forum organized by Xavier University Central Student Government Office of the Vice President in partnership with the Student Social Involvement and Advocacy Program. Part of the task is to profile the candidates, to allow the public to know them.

The Lambigit Igson para sa Hiniusang pag-Uswag sa atong Katilingban (Lihuk) movement is spearheaded by Namfrel Cagayan de Oro-Misamis Oriental, and Xavier University, and is composed of non-partisan organizations, both public and private.

“It’s part of our strategy to establish (a) harmonious relationship with organizations like Comelec and PNP,” Nestor M. Banuag, Jr, local convenor of the Lihuk Movement and Namfrel Cagayan de Oro-Misamis Oriental coordinator, said.

Questions to be asked during the fora will not be divulged in advance of the activity and would be coming from Kwentuhang Bayan, a voters education campaign for the vulnerable sector, to know more about the needs of the community.
