Iligan City — As agreed upon by the board of directors of the Lanao Press Club on Dec. 6, the Christmas party which was originally scheduled on Dec. 22 will be postponed in deference to the sudden passing of one of its board directors, Francisco Dosdos, Jr.

The board, led by President Roy Trinidad, decided it was wise to postpone it.

To recall, Dosdos, 75, passed away last Friday morning. His body lies in state now at St. Peter’s Chapel at Barangay Sta. Filomena, this city.

Interment has been scheduled on Dec. 22 at IISHAI cemetery at Barangay Suarez, this city in the afternoon after a requiem mass at the Immaculate Concepcion church at Barangay Luinab where Dosdos had lived with his family. The organization, has not made up its mind on the specific date when they will hold their Christmas party.

Meanwhile, Lubas sa Dagang Bisaya (Ludabi) where Frank had served as its president, Iligan-Lanao del Norte chapter opted to push through with its scheduled party on Tuesday at the Paseo de Santiago at Santiago, this city.

Lawyer Leo Zaragoza, national president of Ludabi said Dosdos would have been happy that the party pushed through, despite his demise.
