ILIGAN City ― Mayor Celso G. Regencia is currently in “voluntary isolation.”
City councilor Petronilo Pardillo yesterday said this is because he had come in contact with somebody who tested positive of Covid-19. Thus, he has to isolate himself voluntarily. He did not say when the isolation began but added that his self-quarantine will end on July 8.
To note, Regencia has refrained from being visible these days and has not responded to queries from reporters making some sectors wonder if the city still has a mayor.
