THE Provincial Capitol volleybelles will go to the Paglaum MisOr Rise-CDO Cup volleyball playoff round, bearing in mind their upset win over the CDO Green, 2-0.

The stunning conquest made, over the weekend at the Tagoloan Dome, propelled the Capitol Hotties into overtaking the CDO Green for the second spot at a 10-1 win-loss record behind the unbeaten Gingoog ladies (11-0).

“We’re so thankful to Tagoloan Mayor Atty. Nadya Emano-Elipe for hosting the last elimination games of the Paglaum volleyball tourney,” said Provincial Sports Coordinator Francis Sean Condeza.

The Capitol bets had tightened their grip for the second spot after another victory over the hard-fighting yet friendly Talisayan team.

“No retreat, no surrender,” coach Jigs Estroga coaxed his Talisayan charges before facing the heavily-favored Capitol in the last match of the day.

Indeed, Talisayan gave a good fight closing the gap with a searing comeback in the face of the rival's swelling lead, though the Capitol Hotties of coach Reynante Rameri were just too strong to handle with the youthful smasher Joan Polinar at their forefront.

After capitulating in two-straight sets, the much older Talisayan players humbly acknowledged defeat as they gamely shook hands with their playoff-bound Capitol counterparts.
