THIS is an unsolicited advice to Mayor Klarex Uy.

We all know that there is an ongoing reshuffling of personnel from department heads to the lowest rank-and-file employee of the city government, including job order employees. According to some insiders, the Mayor himself made a pronouncement that he has fielded monitoring teams with unidentified members who report to him about the wrongdoings of employees.

This is a good warning to city employees who are expected to fully serve the public as mandated by their respective offices.

The problem is are the monitors really reporting the truth, or are they reporting to hide their own wrongdoings, or are they reporting to favor some benefactors?

Take for example this. According to the grapevine, some people inside the RTA are complaining because of the actuation of The Sister who allegedly carries herself as if she is their boss. Other whisperers say that The Sister uses office resources for her personal business inside the office. The complaints are deafening in their silence for fear of reprisal from the brother engineer.

There is talk also that this cliffhanger makes a lot of dough from bao-bao operators in eastern CDO. We all know that bao-bao units are disallowed in national highways but why are they still proliferating in eastern CDO?

Then there is a reported job order who admitted to mulct a motorist but is still in the employ or still being considered for employment back to the RTA because he is a relative of one of the many consultants of that office. If this is true, it will not help Mayor Uy's administration eradicate corruption that many perceive to be true inside that office which is why the solutions to the traffic problems are not in sight.

Mayor Uy needs to listen to people who have no personal vested interest to protect. People who mean well to help his administration deliver the best service to the people.
